Simply put, a ’boutique travel agency’ means we are specialists at what we do.
Much as you might go to a department store to buy your socks, t-shirts, and jeans, however, when it comes to your finer clothing like a tailored suit, jewelry, or even makeup, you’ll head to a smaller boutique shop for a more refined experience and bespoke product.
You likewise may be comfortable booking online for your weekend trip to visit the old hometown, since there is not much in the way of customization that’s needed, it’s pretty much a one-size-fits-all experience. However, when you’re bringing together a group cruise to the Caribbean or a family reunion in Talum, the experience should be an elevated one from how you book to which product you choose.

With time and attention being stretched to the limit, do you really have available bandwidth to research destinations, properties, activities, and have the confidence that you’ve arrived at the best choice for your budget and group?
By using us you are leveraging a professional that will advocate your you, negotiate on your behalf, and utilize industry connections that aren’t available to the general public. We are often able to get complimentary amenities for our clients, including upgrades, onboard cruise credits, and so much more that are never even offered by big box travel, and online travel agencies.
Additionally, when plans go sideways, reservations get lost or mixed up, your travel agency will work until a resolution is found. When you work with us you have a direct phone number to your travel agent, there won’t be a new person on the other end of the line as is the case with online booking sites.
No. Travel agents are very much still around and thriving. Many are unaware that when they click on an online booking site, they are using an OTA or Online Travel Agency. So they are booking with a travel agent without receiving the hands-on attention and follow-through of an actual Travel Agent.
Most travel product suppliers prefer selling their bookings through Travel Agencies like Untold Adventures Travel Agency because we specialize in their products and the case of Untold Adventures, we are a boutique agency so we have the bandwidth and attention to focus on your specific booking.
This allows you to receive the hands-on care you are looking for while receiving the best value available from your favorite suppliers. And very often we are able to obtain more competitive pricing for the services provided than can be received by booking direct or through OTA’s.
